We Are Era (RTL Group company) acquires 100 percent of the shares in Social Match – strengthening its market positioning in the creator economy
We Are Era (weareera.com), a pan-European media company in the creator economy, is strengthening its offering for advertisers in the German-speaking region. The digital agency Social Match (social-match.com) will become part of the international company with locations in six European markets. With this acquisition, We Are Era is further expanding its influencer and community marketing business and strengthening its presence in the rapidly growing creator economy.
ARTHOS acted as exclusive financial adviser to the shareholders of SG Social Group GmbH, Social Match’s holding company. ARTHOS provided full M&A sell-side advisory services including analyzing and approaching national and international potential financial and strategic investors together with AICA partner firms and driving the subsequent M&A process including co-ordination of the due diligence and leading negotiations of commercial terms of all agreements.
