Arno Pätzold – Managing Partner

Arno Pätzold (Dipl. Wirtsch. Ing.) has been responsible for more than 100 international M&A projects in leading industrial and technology companies over more than 25 years. He realised carve-outs with subsequent company sales and at acquisition projects, he managed the process from the preparatory strategy phase to the successful integration.

Arno Pätzold studied electrical engineering and business administration with a focus on electrical engineering at the Technical University in Darmstadt.

Prior to joining ARTHOS, he was responsible for M&A matters in leading industrial and technology companies. In 1990, he started his career in the central strategy department at Siemens AG and moved to BSH Bosch Siemens Hausgeräte GmbH in 1994. At Infineon Technologies AG, he set up the M&A department in 1999 and led the team until 2009, executing a large number of international M&A projects.

From 2010 to 2012, Arno was a member of the Managing Board of the publicly traded AUGUSTA Technologie AG and responsible for the successful implementation of the “Buy & Build” strategy. He was also a member of the supervisory board of several technology enterprises. Since 2013 he is a partner at ARTHOS.

Arno Pätzold is chairman of the membership committee of the Alliance of Corporate Advisors (AICA), which is co-responsible for the inclusion of new members in this exclusive global M&A alliance.
